Believing Without Seeing

July 26 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

John 20:26-29 Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Being new to accept Jesus there were many times when I needed and prayed for evidence of our Lord Jesus Christ before trust and giving myself to him. This simple act of asking for evidence was a sign that I was not ready to receive annointing, when annointing was the evidence I seek.
Blindly put your faith, trust, and life in Jesus.
Heavenly father hear me. I am new to Prayer and in opening myself to you, giving you control of all that I am. After all, all that I am and all that I have is from you. Help me daily to retain the strength and commitment to keep my faith and trust in you. Especially, in this day and age, where sin and ridicule attack those just whispering your name outside of church. Help me to learm more about you and your teachings so that I may become closer to you, and get to know you better, and so I may follow your word with greater commitment. For I don't want to be the doubting Thomas, and I want to see, hear, and feel you with me so that I may walk through the rest of my life following you word and trusting that I will follow you in death. Amen.
