Rejected, Loved, & Favored

September 20 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

Luke 2:34-35
This chld will be rejected by many in Israel and it will be their undoing. But he will be the greatest joy to many others, thus the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your very soul.
When Jesus was still young he was rejected by many in Israel. But he was also a great joy to many others. That's when God will reveal what's in man's hearts.
Just like Jesus, many of us experience rejection from someone or from many. But he was also a great source of joy to many others. So we shouldn's focus so much on those who reject us but to focus on those we can bring joy through God's love within us.
Father, thank you for letting us know how much you love us even when others reject us, help us to focus on those who we know we could bring great joy to rather than getting all caught up on those who seem to reject us because You reveal what's in the heart of man. In Jesus name AMEN!
