A Clean Conscience

July 23 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

Heb.10:14 "For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified."
When we are in the midst of repenting for some sin, it may
be the hardest to receive this immutable truth. Yet, even when we have fallen into the mud again, the Blood (our holy soap) is washing us perpetually, perfectly clean.
I must RECEIVE the cleansing of my sin to enjoy a clean conscience. It is imperative to my calling that I understand the power of the Blood and God's spoken Words that I am forgiven & my sins are removed, & even their stain, far, far from me. If I am to have victory over the delusion of this age; if I am to walk & talk with mountain-moving faith; if I am to help others find their identity in Jesus & lead them to wholeness of spirit, soul & body, then I must live in a higher realm of expectation of receiving great things from God & that cannot happen if I feel unworthy because of a guilty conscience.
Holy Father in heaven, You alone deserve all the glory with Your Son and Spirit. I love You and acknowledge Your great love and power, grace and mercy. Without You I can do nothing, but with God all things are possible to them who believe. I believe You, Lord. Thank You for cleansing me.
