Someone teach us

October 18 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

Acts 8:31
“How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
The Ethiopian eunich had been reading the scripture of Isaiah when the spirit called Phillip to come over and teach it to him. At first the eunich did not understand what in the world he was reading. To him it made no sense. God saw the eunich making a heartfelt effort to want to know him, so he sent one of his diciples to teach the euncih about Christ.

There are many people out there that may not understand what God,Jesus,or the Holy Spirit is really about. Many are searching, and may not know how to ask, find, or seek. It is our task to "explain" what we can. God will give us the words, like Phillip he will lead us to those who need us. We just have to have our hearts and eyes open to see, and do.
Look and Listen, pay attention. There may be someone who is looking, seeking, confused.
Father Jesus,

Use me when you see fit. I ask for my heart and mind to be receptive of the needs of those you place in front of me.
