April 2 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

2 Cor 2:15-16
For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task?
Ahhh, we are the aroma of Christ to God. When He sees me, He sees Christ. That's overwhelming, to know that God sees me as the scent of Christ, the sweet scent of life.
But what do others smell of me? Do they smell that sweet scent of Christ or do they smell that old gym bag, the one left in my hot car...all afternoon?! That old gym bag, like myself, can be washed, rung through the spin cycle and tossed dry in a HOT dryer. When taken out of the dryer, the gym bag is fresh and smells good as new.
Heavenly Father,
I thank You, Lord for favoring me, for loving me through all my smelliness. You've clung on to me even when I disobeyed You. You love me like only You can. Please forgive me for the many, many times that I'm stinky. Thank You God for constantly standing by me as You continually cleanse me. I pray for the sweet aroma that finds favor in the mighty God that You are. I pray that so that others may see You in me. I love you Jesus, Amen.
