God Orchestrates Marriage

January 2 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

Scripture
The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field.
But for Adam [g] no suitable helper was found. 21 So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs [h] and closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib [i] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. Genesis 2:18-22

Observation
As God is finishing up with creation, he sees that Adam is alone. And God sees it as not good. God tries to find a helper for Adam, but could not. The God puts adam to sleep and forms Eve. And then the first marriage takes plac. We see how God orchistraded bringing Eve to Adam. It is important that is has to be God that brings a man and a woman together in holy matrimony. It has to be God that puts together a husband and a wife. God is the one that created everyone, and He is the one that knows who belongs together. And it takes trust and obiedience from us to find our spouse. God saw how Adam needed someone to help him and to be a eternal companion. And when God made Eve, it was His best. God knows what He is doing and know what is best for us. When it comes to marriage we need to let God orchestrate everything.
Application
Do I trust God when it comes to who I am to marry. I need to realize that God knows me more than anyone and God knws my spouse. I need to allow God to orchestrate my future and who am I going to marry. I see the world and how they buy into the idea of marriage, and they don't have a clue about marriage. I cannot play the bar scene, the nightlife, speed dating, and online dating. And all we need to do is trust God and allow Him to put things together. I need to put my future in the onew that knows it. I have to prepare myself for my spouse by having strong chracter, be a mature man of God, and to desire to be more like Him. I have to folow god when it comes to marriage.
Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for your word. I ask you to help me trust in you when it comes to marraige. prepare me for my spouse and prepare my spouse for that special day. Help me to trust in you and follow you in my life. Help me to be more like you. In Jesus name. Amen
