1 Timothy 4:11-13
"Teach these things and insist that everyone learn them. 12:Don't let anyone think less of you because you are so young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 13: Until I get there, focus on reading the scriptures to the church, encouraging the believers, and teaching them."
I remember when I was hired at Aloha Airlines, I was given the opportunity to become an instructor within the first year of being hired on. I can remember feeling a sense of intimidation, as I would be instructing other Pilots who had been in the company for much longer than me, more intimidating was that they were older than me. What I had to realize was that my training outside of work had prepared me for the position in which I had been awarded. It was this thought that gave me the confidence to overcome the intimidating feelings, and to be able to pass on my knowledge, and skill.
Just as in 1 Timothy 4:11-13, "Don't let anyone think any less of you because you are so young". No matter how old we are we still impact lives by the way we live that will shine through to the world, and make believers of non-believers.
I will continue to impact this world by spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to everyone, young and old, professional and non-professional. Strengthened in Christ by the promises and truths set forth in the Living Word!
"Dear Lord Thank you for your gems of wisdom that you place in the Living Word for us. Lord I ask that you continue to work in me, and through me so that my life can be an example to other believers and a shinning hope to non-believers.
