Let's Proclaim His Word!

August 19 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:10-11
God’s Word is meant to be proclaimed by His people. We are to forcefully advance the Kingdom of God through proclaiming His Word and act on the Holy Spirit with acts of kindness and generosity. We are to proclaim healing, pray for others and give of our resources. This advances the kingdom of God and brings the prophetic to pass.
Most times I forget that God spoke this world into existence. He speaks and the sick is healed, a person gets a job, a person comes to is that simple for Him. Why do I forget how mighty He is? But I must proclaim healing: “in the name of Jesus, be healed.” I must proclaim prosperity for people: “You are the head and not the tail. You will be a lender to nations and a borrower of none.” I must proclaim faith not doubt: “I declare that my dad will come to Christ.”
Lord, please remind me every day to proclaim your goodness and your promises. Remind me to pray for others and teach how we are to use your Word as a weapon against the enemy who seeks to take your promises from us. The enemy would love us to believe that You are not powerful. Help us to trust You and that by doing that we are in Your protective embrace. Help us to stay there always fixing our eyes on You.
