May 2 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

Matthew 18:35 "This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.Ē
Jesus just finished telling a story about a king forgiving a debt of millions of dollars to a servant who was supposed to pay it. Then the servant, who was grateful, turned around and demanded his servant to pay up ten dollars that he owes him. When the king heard about the incident, the king was not happy. The King placed the servant into jail until he could pay off the debt. So, now the scripture up above, this is how God will deal with you if choose not to forgive each other.
We have going through a lot right now and emotions are running high. I know with my mind that God is in control but sometimes my heart doesnít fully believe it. Forgiveness is the key. I do have hard time asking for forgiveness but I donít have a problem of giving forgiveness. As long I continue to freely give forgiveness, I know that I can be set free from what ever comes my way Ö life will become easier to a point. Knowing what the Lord will do if I choose not to forgive is something I donít need to deal with at the moment. I am so grateful that Lord puts us through things for our benefit even when it is hard and tough on the emotions. Character is being built and my faith is growing like crazy. Forgiveness must be in the for front of all this for any of growth to happen. He forgave me of everything, and the least I can do is to do the same.
Lord, Help me to be more like you and forgive so gracefully. Allow me to honor you in all situations and really draw close to you. This time like all times, you have me in the palm of your hand and would never let me fall. Show me anyone I have to ask for forgiveness and give forgiveness to because I donít need any more added stress. I truly love you. In Your Sonís Name, me
