Never let love go cold

May 7 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

Matthew 24 v 10-13 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
At the end of the age, the passages say this; nation will rise against nations, kingdom will fight against kingdom, there will be an increase of wickedness and it will be great distress to us. No doubt, it'll be so easy to lose sight of God, feel hopeless, lose trust in God and people. The love of will grow cold. But watch this. Jesus said: "he who stands firm to the end will be saved." Hallelujah.
Often we complain about the hardships we are going through in life or not getting the things we want so badly, etc. Actually, God is moulding us, shaping us and preparing us to be ready to stand firm to the end of the age. So that we won't turn away from our faith, betray and hate one another, deceived by false prophets. But we will be the people who will stands firm to the end, help the lost to know God and encourage one another.
Father God, I thank you for your words. I pray that you will help us not to let our love go cold, mould us, help us to fix our eyes in you, draw us closer and make us the people who will stand firm to the end. God,I notice that my love is growing cold. Draw me closer, o LORD and may your love in me overflow to others.
