Who Has Bewitched You?

November 7 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

“You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you?”

Gal. 3:1

Why would Paul have to address the the church of Galatian church this way? Something was very wrong. They had fallen away from grace and went back to rules and laws.

God’s promise to Abraham was a promise of faith. He had to believe God was able to perform what He said He would. Also, he had to believe that God was for him and not against him. God is good. When His “good” looks different then ours and sometimes it does, then we have to ask ourself who are we going to believe.
Does He really know what’s best for you? If you don’t believe this then your not walking in faith, taking matters into your own hands means no promise!

He has given me eyes to see, and I have seem much, before this day arrived. I’ve known every time I’m watched, checked up on, and had my house gone through and checked over. Only now, has it become more than I can handle or want. And He knows, I will not live a life surrounded in fear and imprisonment.
Maybe, that is why some people don’t receive what they were promised from God because they couldn’t trust Him? There is no promise if there’s no faith!
The promise was given to me by God, which hasn’t changed. What seems to be changing is the: what, where, who and when… God will decide what is best for me. Its my promise its my faith. He knows I’m NOT going to CHOOSE for myself, and especially, someone who is in a magical world of magic, women, and no knows what else!!!
Father, I ask that your kingdom come and your will be done in all things that concern my life and what you have for me. I ask Holy Spirit for wisdom and peace. Please bring to completion your will, so those involved can move on with their lives. If, because of our own lack of faith and unbelief, things have changed, please show us the way out. We love you, in Jesus name, amen!
