2 COR 12:9
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
Trust is an important aspect in faith. By granting total glory and credit to the Lord in all we do, we humble ourselves in reminder that we are imperfect and rely on God to work through us to accomplish His will. Embracing and understanding our shortcomings will allow us to see God’s work through us more clearly while giving us the more reason to give thanks to Him in ways beyond prayer.
By trusting in the Lord through personal doubt we can allow Him to work His wonders the way that they were intended. His divine intervention is all that is needed for me to be useful in His works. It is then that I have made myself a useful servant of God in doing His will.
“Dear Lord, hear from my heart the confession of being imperfect and reliant on You in all that I do. Grant me Your Grace so that I may of proper use to You as your humble servant. May You use me as a deliverer of Your message and willing to all of Your people so that You may be glad in my service to You. Thank You for giving me the knowledge and all the blessings to this day to recognize this and may You work Your Grace in me to deliver your service to all those in need. Amen.”
