A Well Spring of Wonder!

July 13 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

Scripture

Hebrews 10:35-36
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.

Observation

Deep within these verse's thereís a well spring of wonder. Hum... I wonder what they mean!

Application
After many years of wondering what God was doing in my life, and not really understanding His plans for my future, I gave up. It seemed to hard to really know. It wasnít until I finally quit. When I stopped trying to make things happen on my own, thatís when God stepped in.

I remember the day well, I quit talking to Him and started listening. It was then that He began to speak to me about His plans for my future. A promise just for me! I believe that He holds a promise for each one of us; if we dare to ask. Its one thing to know that He has our plans set for our future, its another thing to know what they are and walk in them.

In today's verse it says ď not to throw away your confidenceĒ. Confidence in what? In the promise of God! Now that we have access into the Holy of Holies, we have access to His plans. Godís desire is to speak to each one of us a promise. Inside that promise is our future, and the confidence it will take to persevere until we have received what He has promised.

For me , my walk of faith really started when I gave up trying, and received His promise for my life. A whole New World of Wonder, began!
Prayer
Lord God,
thank you for giving us access into your throne room of grace! A place where we can go and receive all that we need. Thank you for opening up your heart to us. Give us the courage to ask you for the promise of our future! For your righteous ones will live by faith.. and not shrink back.

My life is yours,
Love, Gail
