How Real Is God

August 22 // 1 Corinthians 8:20-21

As he was traveling, it happened thathe was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him; and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying, "saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" And he said, "Who are you Lord?" And He said, "I am jesus whom you are persecuting, but get up and enter the city, and it will be told you what you muxt do." Acts 9:3-6
As Saul was going to Damascus, God revealed Himself to Saul and became real to him. As Saul is talking to God and having a face to face encounter with God, he is being transformed on the inside. We see Saul name being changed to Paul. And he goes from persecuting Christians to dying as a martyr. How can this happened? How can this miracle take place. When God became real to Saul, it was the begining of Saul's transformation. When God became real to Saul, had no doubt that God exsist and was after him. So he started to follow God and God was his Lord. This is what happens when God is real to someone.
How real is God to me? Does God really live in me? Do I have a relationship with God? I need to realize the more God is real to me, the more I will be in love with Him. The more real God is in my life, the closer my relationship with Him will be. I need God to be real in my life so that I can be on fire for His kingdom. When I make God real, it will be the start of my transformation process to be more like Him. I want God to be real to me, so that I can know Him in more intimate ways. I need to desire face to face encounters with God in my life.
Heavenly Father thank you for your word. I ask you to help me to make you real in my life. Help me to have face to face encounters in my walk with you. I want to know you more. In Jesus name. Amen
